Yes, I am pretty much back in Texas now, and despite my constant complaining and fear of talking to anybody who lives here, it feels pretty good to be back on the ranch. For one thing, I have access to my car again, which I feel is an improvement, despite the increasingly alarming noises coming from the back wheels. I also have money now, which is a completely alien concept to me at this point. I'm left wondering what I'm supposed to be doing with it. I've basically adapted to a money-free lifestyle over the past year and a half, subsisting solely on things I can steal from the internet and things that I can mooch from the kitchen at school or from my trusting family and friends. Meanwhile, what little "income" I've recieved has been immediately abducted and thrown into a "money-gulag" of sorts, where I never get to see it again. However, thanks to a swanky new "job" I got this semester as a professor's daunting slave, I apparently don't have to pay for tuition anymore, and now I have this "money" in quantities exceeding $500!! I've done some research on the subject, and I think I'm supposed to be buying gold and diamond plated jewelry that I wear at all times. The other alternative seems to be to convert my money into yellow-colored coins and then dumping them into some sort of vault with a huge dollar-sign on it so that I can swim around in like Scrooge McDuck. Anyway, n ow that THAT problem is solved, I just need to find a way to download brake pads for a 1997 Ford Taurus off of the internet. If anyone can help me with this, that would be amazing. |
