For those of you wondering where the hell the comics "is at," keep reading this news post because I'm just about to tell you. Quit being so impatient, damn!

As some of you may realize by now, I am a graduate student at Texas A&M studying archaeology (I don't study dinosaurs, you asshole), meaning that I spend my summers out in the boonies digging holes, resulting in extended periods of absence. Fortunately, the dig I'm currently working on is actually pretty close to my house, so I'm home on weekends for comic-making. UNfortunately, since I'm basically spending 50 hours a week churning through rock-hard clay with a glorified putty-knife, my drawing hand is already getting seriously fucked up.

What this means is that DDM is probably only going to be updated once or maybe twice a week, and I imagine the increased drawing quality you've been witnessing over the past month or so is going to go into temporary remission... at least until digging season is over and I have a chance to recuperate.

I'm hoping that Alex will step up to the plate and make some of his world-famous web-comic-roundups, or draw some comics, or make some retarded animated gif's with dancing apples or something. Anything to fill up the empty space, really. Its not like anyone who reads this comic has high standards, right?
